Welcome!

A little of this a little of that

Am now at 41 weeks and still no baby girl. Waiting at the docs office now to figure out a game plan if necessary. This place is so dumb, you wait 45 minutes for them to weigh you, and you've always gained weight, check your blood pressure, and pay $7 for parking. So sick of them. I did get an ultrasound this week since we are past the due date so I got a little glimpse of the cutie pie.

Friday we went to the Astros game with kelly and Harry. We had the best seats in the park. First row right behind the dugout. You know you're good friends when they invite you to a game with these kind of tickets.

Saturday we woke up and made some killer spelt flour (my newest health kick obsession) waffles for breakfast. Then we mosied around the yard, potting plants and playing in the dirt. For lunch we went on a Chinatown tour with Burt. Enjoyed an amazing Chinese meal complete with roasted duck. Kyle brought Stella home and the rest of us got hour-long foot massages and grabbed bubble tea on the way home. Needlesstosay, I passed out early that night.

Sunday morning i joined Kari and Gali and Abby on a trip to the Urban Market. My head nearly exploded from the awesomeness.  Found us a hutch for the kitchen. Probably wasn't the most necessary of purchases but I love it. And we did need it (Just maybe not this minute).  Kari and I also picked up some cute bracelets made from old baseballs.  sort of random, but how am i to pass up a bracelet that says "YES" in rhinestones?!  Also found an old flashcard of a toilet which is now appropriate hanging above our terlet.

I am officially on maternity leave now so I've been able to spend a lot of one on one time with Stella. She is soo smaaart, kiiiiind, and important. It's a cliche I know, but kids do grow up so fast. I can't wait to see her with her baby sister.  Mags was in town and hung out with us monday,
