Welcome!

Stella :: End of the School Year Program

Last night was your end of the school year program.  Man those things are cute.  The 4-year-olds had a graduation ceremony, complete with Pomp and Circumstance and graduation caps and mini diplomas.  In complete disclosure, I cried the first few minutes of the ceremony.  Seeing those sweet, tiny, little faces walk down the aisle in their hand print tee shirts and unbrushed hair, some of them crying, some of them loving the attention...and then to imagine you girls all grown up at the end of high school going through the big graduation ceremony.  i just couldn't take it.

Stella's class (the 3s) and the 2s class and the toddler class performed in a play called "God Didn't Put Elephants in Trees" in which all the kids dressed up and walked down the aisle to the tree filled stage and then sang "Hes Got the Whole World in His Hands."  Very basic but oh. my.  gah.  so cute.  Stella was a Fall Leaf.  The prettiest Fall Leaf in all the world I might add (the costume also allowed me to purchase gold lame leggings  for her which i have coveted since the beginning of time).  Jane was so excited to see all the friends she knows perform and would yell their names and then the costume they were wearing as loud as she could.  And when she saw Stella, well, there was a bit of a (cute) scene.  She yelled, "Yaya! Yaya! Hi! Wait! Wait! I go too! I go too!"  hahahaha.

It was all so cute, I just can't believe how big you are getting my Stells!!!
