it was a jolly good time, A stroll through target for some snacks and new christmas lights for the (our first REAL) tree. then through the mall to santa's wonderland where we waited in line for 30 minutes (not too bad) and dad even joined us! we were there when santa arrived and he walked right by us, it was so magical. honestly it made me tear up a little. the same feelings i had when first seeing the lion king. these feelings you had as a kid all rise to the surface when you watch your kid go through the same experiences. he spoke so sweetly to you stella (could be because we were the 3rd family in line so he wasn't tired of kids yet). you told him your whole christmas list (ariel dress, ariel shoes, ariel bow, ariel fox, ariel kitty) and he told you to be good and remember that santa loves you.
jane was a totally different story. not unlike last year for you (even though the year before that you had no problem). she was all clenched and screaming. they had a fan blowing on santa that made your hair look like beyonce's while you were sitting to his side. it was such a funny scene, that lasted 2 minutes and cost $25.
merry christmas!
