Uncle Ben stayed in town post Nona's 60th Birthday Party/weekend (more on that later) and drove up with Momo just for your party!  it was a fun filled day.  I do have to admit,  because your dad and i were going on a vacation that ended on your real birthday, we moved the date of your party up a week to August 3rd...you didnt seem to mind so much, although we do feel slightly guilty.

The day started with a delivery from auntie kelli and uncle kevin, your first barbie (Birthday Princess)! and my little pony (princess cadance...or princess ca-dance which is how i initially pronounced it)!  uncle ben and i ran some errands, gathering balloons, unicorn cookies and tapioca tea (of course) while you played and played with your new toys.  then it was off to a pre-party easy nap while hugging close all of your new toys.

you woke up ready to partay, and we all headed out, you and dad with the coolers and an errand of picking up Chic-Fil-A nuggets, and me momo oliver uncle ben and jane with decor and cookies.  we met at discover gymnastics for a fun filled time.  you had a blast, although uncle ben might have had the most fun.

after an hour and a half of play time it was time to go home (we actually got kicked out because we overstayed our welcome) and open presents...of which there were plenty.  lots of pink, lots of unicorns, lots of dress up.  what a day.  whew.  we had great plans of setting off lanterns in honor of you but everyone was exhausted by the time the sun set.  we put jane-girl to bed and ordered pizza (your first real food of the day!)

did i mention that our neighbor, Christa, made the most amazing homemade red velvet cupcakes and lemonbars for you birthday?!  these neighbors of ours.  they dont get any better.

i love you my sweet three-year-old.  where is the time going?!?!?

i could kick myself for not getting a photo of you and jane.  because your tutus matched *sigh*

did i mention that you did multiple wardrobe changes during your party?  you started out wearing the polka-dotted-striped dress nona got you because you loved it so (and jane has a matching one), then moved on the the beloved hot pink tutu dress from old navy we got while shopping with aunti kelli, then finished in the tutu which matches jane in the above photo and your 'happy birthday' shirt.  diva.

The family that masks together, looks like idiots together
