Welcome!

around the cox house...

stella, you and your hipster hair.  one side short and curly, the other, long and straight.  i'm not kidding. all i've done is cut your bangs...this is how its naturally growing.  and the side that is curly is always a rats nest in the morning....but now you wont let me brush it.  its still so cute.

you are battling the flu right now.  i dont know how i feel about flu vaccines, my gut instinct tells me theyre disgusting, so i opted out of it for you this year.  turns out you have it now and its terrible.  its making me rethink my decision to say the least.  you got sick thanksgiving night and we're going on a week tomorrow.  although, tonight seemed better, after some Benadryl and tylenol you seemed to pep up almost to your regular self.  i'm hoping tomorrow will be even that much better.  i'm also hoping it doesnt spread to anyone else in the family.  this week has been tiring on all of us and we could do for some health and smiles this weekend.

jane-girl, you are about to crawl.  you can scooch yourself forward with a lot of rocking and then one huge HEAVE forward.  tonight before bed you and me were laying on the floor while dad and stella watched frosty the snowman in bed, and before i knew it, we were forehead to forehead.  you must have moved at least one foot!

you are so smiley, its really unbelievable.  you are also extremely drooly these days, is it time for teeth already?!

what else, what else?  i think thats it for now.  dad bought the best caramel ice cream so i'm going to go dive in.

xo

did i mention you are also sitting up!
