Welcome!

Indecisive

This week's debacle is the double stroller. i swear, am i ever going to know what i want?  its a problem i've had my whole life (note the school debacle for me earlier....i had to call to let one of the schools know whether or not we would be joining their program today and i called and hung up about 5 times before i actually went through with it.  i'm a crazy person.)

Aaaannny way, not that this an interesting topic, but here i go regardless.  To get one or not to get one? Is it worth the expense ($500+) for the few times I will use it? I drug kyle to Right Start to test drive a few the other day (the City Select and the Britax B Ready....of course my hopes and dreams are the bugaboo donkey but the price tag is way to steep for our income) in full anticipation of purchasing one, but none of them fit the bill.  i don't jog enough for the Bob, and really, what other times besides the zoo and galleria shopping would i use it (either of which we do very little of).  no matter what the sales pitch was, at the end of the day it feels like wheeling around a sofa.  that, and i could find a better way to spend that $500+ (why, hello JCrew :))

After this failed attempt I decided to do some online research (probably should have done that first). Lucky for us we got a hand-me-down bugaboo for Stella. It's modular construction allows for a lot of adaptations and what do you know...they have a little skateboard adaption for the back of the stroller where a kid (Stella) can stand and ride. I just got it in the mail and we have gone on a few walks with it and it seems to work pretty well.

For once my indecisiveness pays off.

PS - i just found that they have something called the buggy pod that can attach to the side of the stroller, oh my.

PPS...portlandia, yes.  sadly, i'm exactly like the indecisive man.

stroller with skateboard adaption down, stella would be standing on it but she was at school during this walk

stroller with skateboard locked upright for walks when stella isn't with us.
