Welcome!

how to choose a school

how does one choose the correct school for their 2 year old, because, really, what is school for someone who is 2?  as long as its accredited (read, run by someone with ethics and morals and won't molest or kidnap your child), comes with good recommendations, and you get a good vibe when you go for a tour, that should be it right?  right.  now, what do you do when, after months of fretting (for no good reason) over whether or not she will get into a school (wait lists are ridiculous!!!), she gets into BOTH of your favorite schools.  what then?  (categorize this under white people problems and roll your eyes at me, i know how stupid this all sounds.)   i suppose there can't be a bad choice but i'm literally so conflicted as to what to do i think my head might split open.

montessori vs. traditional
big vs. small
cheaper vs. expensive
where we know people vs. where we are strangers

what does it all mean?!  will it even matter.  ugh, i wish i were better at making decisions.  thats probably the real problem here.

this is a hard decision mainly because its the first time i've had to make it.  and i don't know how she will react in either scenario.  will she like the bigger, more mainstream seeming "school" more?  or does she prefer the smaller, more intimate setting, where she can learn at her own pace?

i think i'm going montessori.

thanks for listening.
