stella and i went up to minnesota last weekend to visit my mom's family. luckily my mom and sister caught the same flight as me so i had help on the plane for stella's FIRST plane ride. she was a champ, slept the entire flight, arms like limp noodles.
we had a lot of fun and were surprisingly un-cold, despite my pre trip anxiety about turning into icicles while we were there. my mom's family is amazing, we had so much fun hanging out together. we ate a ton, as always, lounged around-at one point we got i think it was 18 people on the couch and played a rousing (and probably not child appropriate, even though there were children playing) game of telephone, saw carter play hockey, ice skated (on our shoes) on the pond behind missy's house and had a little snowball fight.
